Hi there! I'm Pamster, your Cyber-Soup Web Waitress. If this is your first visit I hope you enjoy it and that you join in on our dynamic message board forums. Cyber-Soup Shack is the home of my many writings and disability awareness pages. If you have a child who is developmentally delayed or diagnosed with autism I hope you enjoy sharing in my experience with getting a diagnosis and our small triumphs. Jackie's pages are all about sharing our experiences with getting a diagnosis, how we're dealing with it and his progress along the way as we've tried different therapies and interventions.
The latest news is that in March of 2008 we got our new family pet, a baby Yellow Belly Slider Jackie named Mr. Turtle and he is such a cute little guy. I have made a Turtle Photos and Info page with a video page forthcoming. Also a friend from the Turtle Forums, owned and run by the good people behind Austins Turtle Page, is willing to share his photos and videos with me to put up on the new Turtle Area here on Cyber-Soup so check back and look for a link to a new "How-To" page on making a really cool above tank basking area for your turtle(s) to enjoy and use.
I hope you like the photos and if you need more information on TUrtle care it's well worth the bookmark to save the two sites I listed above, they have so much current information it's just wonderful. I have learned so much since finding these two sites and met some wonderful people on the forums. You might have noticed that Cyber-Soup's message board is no longer open, I closed it and Yugi's Lair some time ago because they just we're getting enough traffic to justify keeping them open any longer, I can be found all over the Turtle Forums though and will be adding new pages to Cyber-Soup so I hope you enjoy those pages to come. I will update the front page again once the videos and new photos are ready and added to the Turtle Area and I plan on updating other areas of the site as well over the coming months.
Even if you're not an amputee like I am, a high level one almost to the hip, I hope you enjoy sharing in my Amputee Alley pages. I made it because I want to show that people can live with disabilities and be very happy. I know having done so for fifteen years now. It's not easy, especially if you're dealing with chronic pain, but you can be happy and live a good life. If you would like to join in on the message boards you'll see the most recently active topics on each them. Register a name you'll be able to post and participate in the Cyber-Soup fun!
